Wunderlich Limited

Well, this job was really something different.
Production Planning Officer was my title. The factory was at Rosehill NSW not too far from where we lived after leaving the previous job.
It was not very easy for us during this period but we never, ever looked back.
Because we lived now on our 2.5 HA (5+ acres) without public transport, we also needed 2 cars.
In the beginning we tried to do with our old reliable Morris Oxford but it became too much for Jo to drive me to work and Marta to school.
The job, what job. There was not really much to do for me.
Looking over plans for new buildings and estimating their requirements and scheduling production and delivery. Most of this was already done and my job was mainly just checking against the plans etc.
That I stuck it out for those 2 years and 8 months, still surprises me.
It could have been shorter though because after I applied for my following job they took a very long time to make up their mind.
But in the end, I left Wunderlich on the 20th of October 1967 and started at Winford Motors on the 23rd of October 1967 as, you might guess, as assistant accountant.
