JANUARY 1945: 28 Sunday. Have to work in kitchen tomorrow to peel potatoes (for hospital) 29 Monday. Work in kitchen is easy and food is good. 30 Tuesday. Became ill from yesterday. In afternoon in sick ward. Eat bread. Stomach cramps, Diarrhoea. Not allowed to eat anything. 31 Wednesday. See above. FEBRUARY 1945 1 Thursday. Am allowed to eat again. Gave a message to some one who told me he was allowed to go back to Holland. (Learnt later that message was received) 2 Friday. Have to go back to lager. 3 Saturday. Did go again to work in kitchen. Had some nice food. Tomorrow we don't have to work in kitchen. |
