My current project, Daily Readings for a Coptic Church.

Just an update. I have been working on some project that started with a question.
After helping setting up the Coptic Synaxarium for a Coptic Church in the USA,
I was asked if I good help with getting a component for "Daily Readings" for a Coptic Church
That started some month ago now and I am still ay it.
It is quite complex and is a good challenge to keep my brain working/
The big outlines are now working as they should and now to get the data in the database the way I like it.

And during that time I do get request to update the Sengers Stamboom (Family Tree)
During one of these a thunderstorm cut out my computer and the database was corrupted.
For one, I always tell people to make backups
And what did I find? I did not have a backup of the latest update session.
Luckely I did have a previous copy but that one is not 100% correct
I have to check that one out and see what I have to fix/

And now it is 2008!!

And by now well into it.

It is hard to believe, at least for me, that we are now in 2008.
When I was a young boy, people over the age of 60 were old.
I hardly knew any one over the age of 70 let alone aged 80.
And that is what I will be this year, 80!!
And that also after I was given the Viaticum in April 1945.
At present I am working on scripts for a Coptic Church.
Yes, a Coptic Church and the scrpits are for the display of the Daily Readings.
Quite a complex sort of thing.
There are many if's etc. as these readings can vary from year to year based on certain events like easter etc.
Most has been done, just waiting to get some details for the variables for the database.
When finished, it will be very satisfying to see that on a Coptic Church's website.
At present there are some churches that already display some of my works.
Like the KJV-Bible and the Coptic Synaxarium.
I have these scripts on my site and also the Koran/Quran


After all this I will try to update this page and show some random pictures from "Het Grote Sengers Book".
This book has the family tree (stamboom / kwartierstaat) of the Sengers Family.

What I need is time!


1997 - 2007
Ten years Sengers presence on the Web.

Yes, I started my experience on the web on the 9th of January 1997.
That was after I retired from my job --View in popup
My first page that was archived by web.archive.org was at When clicking on the following, be patient, at times it works very, very slow and sometimes not at all!
zeta.org.au --View in popup This page is from August 1997.
Zeta.org.au was later absorbed by, I think Pacific or something.

My first pages were made up of just static HTML pages.
I had dabbled with dBase and Clipper and with these programs I managed to have my first website with the Sengers Family Tree.
This Family tree was put together by some people and published in a book called Het Grote Sengers Book. --View in popup
